Ryan Graphics, Big Tricks for Small Budgets, has just received multiple awards from the 4th annual International award competition sponsored by Portfolios.com. Portfolios.com is a well known website in the creative industry. An online source for creatives to showcase work samples, search the job bank, and enter the annual award competition. Portfolios.com advertises in high-end graphic design magazines and partners with other design-related websites.Ryan Graphics is honored to receive a Bronze Award for it’s “Hawaiian Historical Print Society” logo and two Merit Awards for it’s “Moose and Monkey” and “Skyward Merchants” logos. The Hawaiian Historical Print Society logo was completed for a local client located in Vancouver, WA. This logo was for an artist with a collection of reproduced, antique Hawaiian paintings. The Moose and Monkey logo was completed for a client in California with plans to launch an online retail website selling whimsical home décor. The third logo, Skyward Merchants, was completed for a client in North Carolina. This client is a full-time pilot that also had an online retail website selling aviation supplies. Ryan Graphics goes above and beyond to develop unique identities for each client. “I am so pleased with this news and to actually receive multiple awards from one competition was beyond my expectations,“ said Laurie Ryan-Day, owner of Ryan Graphics. Logo development has become the focus for this designer. She has already received numerous awards for her logo work. In early 2007, the designer received notice that her work would be published in the upcoming “Big Book of Logos #5”, and then in March www.DesignFirms.org awarded Ryan Graphics for her Huggy Toys logo. In 2006, last June the 3rd annual www.Portfolios.com competition granted her the Merit Award in the logo category. And then www.DesignFirms.org awarded the designer during their September and November competition. Ms. Ryan-Day is hoping to build her client base and share her skills with business owners that appreciate good design. Her tagline, “Big Tricks for Small Budgets”, says it all.
