Bluff Europe Hits UK Newsstands

June 09, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
London, UK — From June 1st, Bluff Europe, the magazine that brings you the thrill of poker every month, will be available on newsstands throughout the UK, bringing its circulation to 34,000 throughout Europe. Next month, that number will increase by 15,000 as a German language version of the magazine launches.

The June issue will celebrate the magazine’s arrival in shops with a special focus on the best players in the UK as they head to Vegas to battle for gold bracelets at the World Series of Poker. Additionally, there are reports from the Scandinavian Poker Championships, the Grosvenor Poker Tour Manchester and a special feature from Hollywood star Jennifer Tilly at the Irish Open, not to mention all the news, views, gossip and strategy tips from some of the best poker players in the world.

As an added bonus this month, a DVD of ‘Learn from the Pros’, courtesy of Full Tilt, will be given away free in each issue.

“Previously, we were content to distribute in the UK through casinos, cardrooms and via subscriptions, thus directly reaching our target consumer – the poker enthusiast,” said Philip Conneller, Editor of Bluff Europe. “However, with the continued growth of the game in the UK, we now feel that the climate is right to seek out a wider, more mainstream readership.”

Michael Caselli, Editor-in-chief added, “We’re delighted that Bluff Europe is hitting the newsstands. We believe we can cement our place as the Europe’s premier poker magazine.”
