ZIP Code Download Adds New ZIP Codes to its Databases

Provo, UT (June 2007) – ZIP Code Download, a leading supplier of on demand ZIP Code data, today announced that 45 new ZIP Codes have been added to its ZIP Code database. The new ZIP Codes are primarily in Arizona and Florida, but residents in 13 states are affected by the changes. Eleven new ZIP Codes have been issued in Arizona. Residents in Phoenix, Maricopa, Queen Creek, Chandler, Casa Grande, Gilbert, Avondale, and Marana will be affected. In Florida, fourteen new ZIP Codes have been issued to residents in Lady Lake, Lake Worth, Boynton Beach, Wesley Chapel, Riverview, Valrico, Tampa, Lehigh Acres, and North Port. Communities with new ZIP Codes in other states include Campton NH, Durham NH, New York NY, Chambersburg PA, Spotsylvania VA, Indian Lake SC, Battle Creek MI, Edmond OK, Georgetown TX, Round Rock TX, Colorado Springs CO, Mesquite NV, Las Vegas NV, Bordertown NV, Bradbury CA, Byron CA, and Sacramento CA.

Residents in affected communities will be notified by the USPS. They are encouraged to use the ZIP Code lookup available through http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/ to verify that their ZIP Code has changed and then communicate these changes to friends and family. Most companies use addressing software that will automatically update the ZIP Codes, so it is not necessary to contact financial institutions and magazine publishers.
