Leandro Herrero to speak at ‘The Future of the Pharmaceutical Industry’

LONDON, UK - June 7th, 2007 – Dr Leandro Herrero, co-founder and CEO of The Chalfont Project Ltd (www.thechalfontproject.com) – an international firm of organizational consultants - will be speaking in Madrid at the upcoming event ‘The Future of the Pharmaceutical Industry – A privileged view’. His speech – ‘The quest for innovation in life sciences companies’ - will focus on how life sciences companies can be at the forefront of innovation.Dr Herrero has personally led multiple organizational and cultural changes by applying the Viral Change-way, which is described in his book Viral Change: the alternative to slow, painful and unsuccessful management of change in organizations (meetingminds, 2006).
“Viral Change as a form of change management is completely different from the conventional way,” Dr Herrero says. “It represents a truly new way of producing and sustaining changes and creating innovation in companies of any size.”
Dr Herrero will address conference attendees on Tuesday 19th June 2007 at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. The event is organized by Medical Economics Spain, in collaboration with the Instituto de Empresa.
Dr Leandro Herrero practised as a psychiatrist for more than fifteen years before taking up senior management positions in several pharmaceutical companies, both in the UK and the US. He is currently CEO of The Chalfont Project Ltd, an international firm of organizational consultants, which he co-founded. Taking advantage of his behavioural sciences background - coupled with his hands-on business experience - he works with organizations of many kinds on structural and behavioural change, leadership and human collaboration.
