STARS Youth Sports Gets Ready to Kick Off Another Season

The youth recreational soccer league is open to all children ages 4 through 14. The 13-game STARS soccer season will start in September and end in March with breaks for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Registration fees are $125-155 and include insurance, pictures, practice shirt, participation medal, and uniform if new to the program.

Tryouts for the competitive soccer league will occur June 9 through July 17 and are open to all youth ages 6 years through 16. The STARS Excel competitive program is $165. Uniform and other fees are additional.

The NFL and the Arizona Cardinals have partnered with CCV STARS to launch youth flag and tackle football programs. The co-ed flag program will be open to all children between the ages of 6 to 13, and the co-ed tackle league will include children between the ages of 8 to 14. Games will be played on Friday nights under the CCV lights. Registration fees for flag football are $70 if registered by July 1 or $80 if registered by August 1. For the tackle football, the registration fee is $135 if registered by July 1 or $160 if registered by August 1.

The STARS cheer season will run in conjunction with the football season and will support Friday night games. Cheer is available to all girls between the ages 6 to 13. Cost is $75 if registered by July 1, and $80 if registered by August 1. Registration fee includes game shirt and shorts.

The CCV Stars program will focus on providing a positive environment for all kids in the community. Don’t delay!
