K2 releases beta 2 versions of ‘BlackPearl’ software

June 4 — K2 today released beta 2 versions of its new software. The new K2 platform enables developers and business users to quickly and easily assemble dynamic business applications from reusable items.

Available pre-release K2 software will include beta 2 versions of K2 “BlackPearl” and K2 “BlackPoint” (codenames).

K2 “BlackPearl” is the core platform for assembling dynamic business applications and includes fundamental business process management (BPM) capabilities.

K2 “BlackPoint” is a design and runtime experience that allows users to visually create process-driven solutions from within the Microsoft SharePoint environment.
