Rackspace Managed Hosting, the UK’s most recommended hosting provider, has been recognised in the Financial Times Best Workplaces Awards. In addition to being acknowledged as one of the top 50 best places to work in the UK, Rackspace was also honoured as being one of the UK’s most ‘fun and friendly’ and ‘most welcoming’ companies to work for.Jacques Greyling, Rackspace’s MD EMEA, said: “At Rackspace we believe that satisfied staff are better able to provide our customers with Fanatical Support, our own brand of customer service excellence. I think the recognition Rackspace has received in the ‘Best Workplaces Awards’ is a great achievement and everyone at Rackspace should be proud of what we have created.”
According to the Financial Times, “Rackers, as employees at Rackspace Managed Hosting are known, are very satisfied with their workplace culture. They particularly appreciate the benefits provided which include a new online benefit choice system, a discounts package and a wide variety of office perks. Management works hard to create work-life balance and employees appreciate their efforts. Recently introduced competitions, out of work activity clubs and a charity and community work programme combine to add fun and zest to the working week.”
The UK’s Best Workplaces Programme is run by the Great Place to Work Institute UK, which forms part of the world’s largest scheme to recognise excellence in people management. According to the institute: “A great place to work is one where employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do and enjoy the people with whom they work.”
