Steamboat Springs, CO (June 2007) – Martyn Lewis, European Chairman of Teliris, which is one of the world’s leading telepresence providers, will be featured as a keynote speaker at Telepresence World 2007, to be held June 4 - 6, at the University of San Diego, San Diego, CA. Mr. Lewis, formerly the news anchor for BBC Television News, has been a pre-eminent figure in broadcasting for over three decades. In 1997, he was awarded the CBE (Commander of the British Empire) for his services to young people and the hospice movement. Mr. Lewis is actively involved in many charitable organizations and is one of the co-founders of Teliris. For his conference session, entitled “A View from the Anchor’s Chair,” Mr. Lewis will take off his “Chairman’s hat” and discuss the global potential of telepresence from the perspective of a reporter who has been covering world news for the past 30 years.
