James McEachin Wins Best Film Short Award at 2007 GI Film Festival

The 2007 GI Film Festival Awards (GIFF), announced May 28, 2007 in Washington, DC named OLD GLORY written, produced, and directed by James McEachin, as the 2007 winner in the Short Film category.

The winners of the 2007 GI Film Festival (GIFF) Awards were announced by festival Directors Brandon Millett and Laura Law-Millett at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington, DC. GIFF exclusively celebrates the successes and sacrifices of the American military through the medium of film. The three-day festival was held May 26-28 2007, Memorial Day Weekend. Festival participants include R. Lee Ermey (MAIL CALL, FULL METAL JACKET), Billy Blanks (founder of Tae-Bo), Pat Boone, and Gary Sinise (FOREST GUMP, CSI) who was honored with the 2007 GIFF Spirit Award for his excellence and commitment to honoring soldiers and veterans.

As the winner in the Short Film category, OLD GLORY proudly displays McEachin's mission of commemorating those who have served and are serving in the United States Armed Forces.
