Entrust America’s Identity Theft Solutions Presented to Veterans Administration

ERLANGER KY – Due to increased consumer demand, Entrust America is pleased to announce it is accelerating a roll-out of identity theft and credit care protection services to American consumers.

Entrust America’s services are so valuable they received serious consideration from the Veterans Administration during their ‘identity theft crisis’ in June 2006.

Confidentiality restrictions have passed and Entrust America can now let consumers know that the company’s identity theft protection and recovery services were identified as a potential solution by the Veterans Administration.

Entrust America representatives were on Capitol Hill in 2006 regarding the Veterans Administration’s identity theft breach which affected over 26 million veterans and active duty personnel.

Last June 29th, company representatives met senior officials within the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs along with Secretary Jim Nicholson regarding Entrust America’s identity theft proposal. Entrust company representatives were also present in the Senate Hearings when Secretary Nicholson revealed the laptop which contained personal data of service personnel had fortunately been recovered, thus ending the crisis.

At that time it was determined that a serious breach had not occurred and no further action was required. No plan would be offered to veterans at that time. Last month, Entrust America was asked to update our proposal so that it could be held on file should the VA choose to re-open the issue.

Myles Cairns, CFO & COO of Entrust America was instrumental in working with a senior officials to ensure the proposal was delivered to top ranking government members.

Entrust America’s plan was fully endorsed by the Foundation of American Veterans, based in Detroit. FAV is a non-profit organization 501 (C) (19), whose goal is to assist Veterans where the local, state, and federal governments leave off.

Entrust America’s proposal included daily credit monitoring and alerts, free Identity Theft legal assistance, lost credit card assistance programs, ongoing educational services and full identity recovery solutions for all veterans.
