LONDON, ON – May 2007 – Everyone is well aware of the ill effects of smoking. In fact most people can say that smoking has negatively impacted their life in some way. The Optimum Health Laser Centre wants to escalate the fight against smoking by making smoking cessation clinics available in all communities across North America.

To accomplish this goal Debra Taylor, the President and CEO of the Optimum Health Laser Group Inc, offers training in how to run your own smoking cessation clinic. After 4 successful years treating smokers in the London Ontario area, Taylor wants to pass on her extensive knowledge and practical experience.

The treatment involves the use of low level laser on accupoints on the ears and hands. The laser stimulates the nervous system which causes the brain to release endorphins, the chemical in your body that makes you feel good, which is what nicotine does. Through the use of lasers your body’s own chemicals are used to replace the need for nicotine.

The training takes approximately 10 days to complete and includes treatment protocols as well as assistance with setting up a clinic and the first few days of operation. Having experienced the pitfalls of business ownership, Taylor wants to pass on the tools for success. Taylor says “the desire to do well is only the beginning to running a successful business. There are practical skills that need to be learned for a business to thrive”.
