eil.com the world's leader in rare music and music memorabilia has expanded it's award winning website by adding a Pop Art Gallery featuring works by artists who have influenced the world of music. Perhaps gaining widespread public acceptance with Peter Blake's iconic cover for The Beatles Sgt Pepper's LP before the explosion of Andy Warhol and his association with The Velvet Underground and The Rolling Stones".
That bond was further cemented many years later when The Jam front man Paul Weller had one of his Rickenbacker guitars customized featuring a Roy Lichtenstein work. The movement's influence is still being felt today, London's National Portrait Gallery has announced its first ever exhibition dedicated to Pop Art will take place this Sumer .
Mike continued:"To have unearthed one original signed piece by Andy Warhol is a major coup for any specialist collector but we have been fortunate enough to have sourced a whole collection of works by the great man."
Robert Croydon , Managing Director, added: "Our aim is simple. We want to offer the serious collector the most diverse and varied selection of musical collectables & investments available anywhere in the the world. This could be the latest seven inch single by the band of the moment or one of these fabulous Warhol, Hockney and Damien Hirst originals that feature in Pop Art gallery ".
