FollowUs introduces new GPS Person Locator Device

FollowUs (www.followus.co.uk), the UK’s leading mobile location solutions service, today launches its latest GPS tracking device to the market – the GPS Person Locator, which can give parents and lone workers peace of mind. FollowUs believes it is the first to offer a GPS location device with pay-as-you-go web based mapping that enables parents locate a family member through their WAP-enabled mobile or PC.

The Person Locator is a GPS phone that is the height of a credit card, and is small and light enough to be carried by people of all ages including young children and the elderly. Unique to the product, it uses the new SiRF III chip set that offers accuracy to within 10 meters. The Person Locator will operate world-wide subject to having mobile phone reception.
