NEW YORK.– The Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) has announced that Tyla Wells, owner of Schoolhouse Learning Communities, LLC., was the recipient of the WPO’s 2007 Mary Lehman MacLachlan Economic Empowerment Award. The annual award is given to one applicant based on set criteria of entrepreneurial excellence that was established to award esteemed WPO members and to honor the memory of Mary Lehman MacLachlan, a former leader in the women’s business community.
