METRO NY BALLOON & MUSIC FESTIVAL 2007 TO LAND ON LONG ISLAND 3-Day Festival Experience to Also Feature Bilingual Big Top Circus, Monster Truck Rally, Extreme Sports Expo…and Much More

The Town of Brookhaven will host the Metro NY Balloon & Music Festival 2007 at Brookhaven's Calabro Airport on August 10th, 11th and 12th. Produced by RE/MAX of New York, Inc. — the state's leading real estate franchise network headquartered in Garden City, NY — and directed by veteran promoter David A. Glicker, this spectacular event "reaches for the sky," delivering an array of exciting entertainment and activities for attendees of all ages.

The Metro NY Balloon & Music Festival will feature more than fifty (50) Premier Hot Air Balloons from all across the United States, including many spectacular "shaped," corporate, and sport balloons. Festival visitors will be able to enjoy “bagels and balloonsâ€� during the early-morning ascensions, and “BBQ and balloonsâ€� during the breath-taking early-evening glows and ascensions. The Festival will also include live performances from legendary Long Island rockers Joan Jett & The Blackhearts (Friday, August 10th) and Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo (Sunday, August 12th) — and if those names aren't amazing enough, "The Most Rock 'N Roll Rock 'N Roll Band In The World," The Black Crowes, will be headlining (Saturday, August 11th).

Tickets will go on-sale on Friday, May 18th at 10am through the Metro NY Balloon & Music Festival's online box office metronyballoonfest.com and at ticket outlets, including select RE/MAX of New York offices, Curves locations, and other locations specifically listed on the festival website. Special VIP “Party Like A Rock Star� festival packages and group-rates will also be available.

Admission policies and hours of operation will be as follows:

• Saturday, August 11th - Open: 6am-11pm – Advance General Admission: $20 (Adults), $12 (Ages 5-11 — FREE for Children 4 & Under), Reserved Concert Seating: $75 (Includes General Admission)
• Sunday, August 12th – Open: 6am-8pm – Advance General Admission: $20 (Adults), $12 (Ages 5-11 — FREE for Children 4 & Under), Reserved Concert Seating: $65 (Includes General Admission)
