TORONTO ON – RaptorTalk is an all new Raptor-centric online site which is now live at www.raptortalk.com . RaptorTalk features opinions and comments from articulate fans who want have their voices heard on a professional platform.RaptorTalk is designed to provide insight, commentary and analysis from select fans of the Toronto Raptors. Raptor fans have the opportunity to post their thoughts and comments on all RaptorTalk articles.
Unlike other sites which provide analysis or commentary from those associated with the team or through traditional media venues, RaptorTalk provides a unique point of view from long-time fans and season ticket holders of the Toronto Raptors.
The perspectives and opinions provided here are focused on giving another source of hoops opinions for Toronto Raptor fans who just can't seem to get enough Raptor information. RaptorTalk is an independent fan site which will complement and not compete with existing team and media sites.
Walter Dubowec believes the time is right for RaptorTalk. “Outside of traditional media channels, there is limited access for Raptor fans to read reasonable and fair opinions and news about their favourite team. Of course, there are ‘noisy’ fan forums and blogs which one can sift through. However, many of these channels are increasingly filled with over-reactions and over-the-top commentary which many Raptor supporters prefer to avoid.”
RaptorTalk has launched with a team of three contributors. Once the beta site is functioning properly and the full site launch date of May 22, 2007 passes, then RaptorTalk will begin inviting guest commentary from articulate fans who wish to share their views online without needing to post on forum boards and chat rooms.
