NORRISTOWN, Pa. - Since RT Image magazine initially launched blogs on its Web site, www.RT-Image.com, in March, the radiology community has enjoyed an interactive outlet to share ideas and stories. But now, RT Image has expanded the number of bloggers and categories so that the radiology community can receive additional insights from industry insiders. Currently, readers can visit www.RT-Image.com and read what's on the minds of educators, students, staffing specialists and radiology professionals - as well as the RT Image staff.
Visitors to the blog section can read blogger's comments, respond with their own opinions or even ask them questions about the topic of interest. Also, visitors have the option to subscribe to each blog, in order to receive e-mail notifications of each new entry.
"Already, RT Image has experienced tremendous success with its blogs," says Tom Schaffner, RT Image editor in chief. "Now, with the additional bloggers contributing to our Web site, we're expanding our reach in the radiology community.
We're excited to break ground in the burgeoning area of blogs, and we believe this outlet will be very well-received by our readers."
The new educator category features blogs from a radiology program director and an online course developer. The new staffing category is comprised of industry experts, exploring challenges that commonly arise in fulfilling staffing requirements.
The additional radiology professional bloggers will discuss topics, such as workplace issues, patient relations and technological advancements. The student bloggers will continue to tackle the concerns of entering the field and learning the profession. And, finally, the RT Image staff will continue to address issues concerning the industry and backstories on the editorial in each issue.
Currently, 19 bloggers regularly contribute to this interactive forum, which can be viewed at www.RT-Image.com/blog.cfm.
