May 17, 2007 — OldWestNewWest.Com, the Internet eZine that reports on how the New West is keeping alive Old West traditions, is expanding its coverage of Western Americana by adding a News and Updates Page on its Web site (www.oldwestnewwest.com) for reporting current events and updates of Western happenings.“We’re adding coverage of news about The West that we feel is important to our readers, fans and supporters of the Old West, and that the mainstream media may overlook as unimportant or trivial,” said Mike Harris, publisher.
Additions to the News and Updates Page will be posted as often as changes are warranted, Harris added. Coverage may include news or updates about Western travel, restaurants, historic sites, museums, Western destinations, cowboy poetry gatherings, and state and regional Western festivals and events.
“OldWestNewWest.Com is becoming recognized as the Internet eZine to go to where you can find stories about how Westerners are celebrating the Old West through festivals, poetry, music, food and storytelling,” Harris said.
