THE YARD is a dramatic series exploring the lives of six diverse college freshmen that come from not only racially and economically different backgrounds, but are also poles apart when it comes to perspectives, and aspirations. Television viewers will be able to journey with these students as they navigate THE YARD of Thurgood Marshall University. Although the majority of characters are African American, the experiences on the yard are universal, because no matter where you come from, those four years are an experiment of balancing freedom and responsibility, where sexuality, politics, racism, and personal prejudices are confronted daily.
This dramatic series blends artistry with real life, in such a way that not even reality TV could master. The Yard is a production of Philmbiz Entertainment and Fountain Penn Productions out of Philadelphia, PA. To view the trailer please visit www.myspace.com/theyardtv
