Laidlaw Transit Services renews contract in Las Vegas, Nevada

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) recently awarded a new three-year contract to Laidlaw Transit Services, Inc. to continue providing paratransit services in Las Vegas, Nevada. Laidlaw will operate more than 180 vehicles in this three year, $75 million contract. As a result of this award, Laidlaw will begin operating the SilverSTAR and CATSTAR services, previously operated by Veolia Transportation, in addition to the ADA Paratransit services it has operated since 2000.
