Flux launches policy for caravans kept abroad

Up till now it has been difficult to get insurance on caravans stored abroad but Adrian Flux Insurance has introduced a policy that offers exactly the same cover on caravans stored abroad as you would get on those stored in the UK.

“We were getting lots of enquiries from customers wanting to store their caravans abroad to save journey times so we looked into sorting out insurance for them,” says Julie Carter from Flux. “There are now beautiful storage sites throughout Europe and we wanted to make sure our customers could take full advantage of their facilities.”

The caravan is covered whether it is in storage or out on the road touring. The only restriction is the security of the site, Flux normally needs a site that has a clear perimeter and is supervised day and night. CCTV and security lighting are a bonus but not always essential.
