Human Resource Partners gets new digs; Founder moves office to accommodate business growth

DOVER, N.H. — On the brink of its fourth anniversary, Human Resource Partners has relocated its offices to accommodate a surge in business.

The consulting agency, which partners with companies and organizations throughout New England to offer human resources support, is now located in the Picker Building in the mills overlooking the Cocheco River in Dover. Prior to the move, Human Resource Partners was based out of founder Delise West’s home.

“Because my business is based on referrals, I have seen a steady increase of business over time,” said West. “I am seeing more and more of a demand for the types of services I provide to my clients. Every company with employees needs HR-related services at some point in their business’ evolution, but it seems that once a business has 15 to 20 employees, it really starts to feel the need for more HR-related support.”

Human Resource Partners contracts with clients in a variety of ways, based on each company’s needs. As a human resource generalist with more than 13 years in the field, West specializes in industries such as high technology, biotechnology and health care. She said that she has found that many companies prefer an out-of-house human resources agency for a multitude of reasons.

“Most employers really do not need to hire a full-time, in-house HR professional until they are near the 75 employee mark, although I have clients who exceed 75 employees and have chosen to outsource this function instead,” said West. “The client benefits because in order to hire a full-time person with my experience would be costly. Outsourcing the HR function is a cost-savings for them. Additionally, they do not have to pay for benefits, workers’ compensation, unemployment taxes, etc.”

Human Resource Partners offers an array of services such as compliance solutions, employee performance and retention strategies. The new Picker Building office is open by appointment only.
