Speedpitching Event Connects Entrepreneurs and Investor: Watch Event Video

Entrepreneurs interested in presenting at the upcoming Speedpitching luncheon can now take a peek into the valuable event that connects entrepreneurs and investors.

“For the sake of the presenting entrepreneurs, we like to keep the Speedpitching events very intimate,” Brock Blake, FundingUniverse CEO, explained. “We don’t allow any spectators to attend the event so the pitching entrepreneurs can have their ‘time in the sun’ with a room full of active investors. Because of the overwhelming requests to attend the events and see what they are like, we decided to create a video for everyone to see!”

The Speedpitching luncheon puts ten pre-screened and pre-coached entrepreneurs in front of ten groups of three to five investors. Entrepreneurs pitch to small groups of investors for four minutes. Investors then have 3 minutes to ask questions. After the time has expired, the entrepreneurs rotate and begin the process again, pitching to another group of investors.

If selected to participate in the event, an entrepreneur meets with dozens of accredited angel investors in a very personal setting. Nearly every entrepreneur who has presented at a Speedpitching luncheon has received follow-up from an investor or angel group.
