Atlanta, GA – May 9, 2007 – Evalueserve (EVS), a leading provider of Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) Services, is announcing the opening of its Southeast Region Office in Atlanta, GA. Jack Doering as been appointed the Regional Practice Manager based in Atlanta facilitating EVS’s growth through the expansion of its sales operations in this region.
“EVS brings to the Southeast business community two major attributes: An ability for firms to receive a high-quality work products while improving their cost basis for this type of function and, secondly it gives them a unique research capability in global and emerging markets that Southeast firms desire to gain access into”, comments Doering. EVS currently serves over 1200 clients, with 100 of these being ‘Fortune 1000’ size firms.
Various businesses, consulting firms, marketing companies, legal, financial and other services-related entities are electing to source knowledge-intensive processes that often require workers with specialized expertise. EVS has dedicated teams that provide specific Industry research/intelligence work in the common practice areas for KPO. These include Market Research, Business Research, Financial and Statistical Analysis, Investment Research, Intellectual Property/Patent Research Services.
Revenue in the global KPO market was $1.2 billion in 2003 and is expected to reach $17 billion by 2010, with an annual growth of 46 percent. This explosive expansion is largely due to cost savings and the simplicity of implementing the KPO business model.
KPO can be incorporated into businesses of any size, from the largest global firms to start-ups. It is used for one-time, ‘on-demand’ projects, staff augmentation, or on a long-term contractor basis. Unlike Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) and Business Process Operating (BPO), KPO is easier for companies to implement with regard to expanding or reducing services and mitigating contractual issues. Cost savings vary by practice area, but global sourcing of ‘knowledge’ work has often produced cost savings of up to 65%.
“Many companies have deployed, or are deploying KPO internally. These companies are either using EVS to manage this operation for them, or in some cases managing it themselves. The EVS model brings scale to the KPO marketplace offering clients of all business sizes a unique cost benefit they typically can not achieve on their own” mentions Doering.
Doering joins EVS from Hewlett Packard’s Technology Solutions Group. He served as head of their Americas Marketing MI team and as a Business Development Practice Manager for HP Services in the Southeast US.
Prior to his employment at Hewlett Packard, Doering worked with AT&T for 15 years, holding a variety of upper managerial roles in consulting, sales and marketing. He holds a Business degree in Marketing from the University of Kentucky.
