(Laurel, MD) May 2007—MEDS Publishing is proud to announce its release of an educator-oriented package of learning programs, the Educator Enrichment Package. The package is intended for new instructors who want to attain effective abilities in teaching and for experienced educators who want to polish up on skills. Because of the current nurse educator shortage, it is more important than ever to ensure that the faculties of nursing schools are fully prepared for classroom challenges.

Each of the four programs in this package includes interactive tutorials and follow-up Q&A for reinforcement. All Q&A have rationales and hints for all possible answers, and each of the programs has TrackerPlus, a tracking system that monitors progress made in tutorials and Q&A. In addition, the package offers up to 64.5 CE credits for nurse educators.

The Educator Enrichment Package includes the following programs:
- Educator Skill Building (8.5 CE credits) – A program coaching instructors on how to develop an NCLEX-focused curriculum, assist poorly prepared students, nurture a learning environment, and more
- How to Conduct a Test Review (12 CE credits) – Instructors will learn how to incorporate test-taking strategies and instill confidence when preparing students for examinations
- Test Construction (8 CE credits) – Educators learn how to more effectively assess students with more accurate and fair testing
- Dosage and Calculations Made Easy (36 CE credits) – Dosage and calculations problems are broken down so that educators may brush up on their medical math knowledge

For 25 years, MEDS has been offering resources and services for nursing educators, and the provision of CE credit-granting programs was the next logical step for the company. MEDS hopes to continue its contributions to the nursing industry by refreshing and complementing the knowledge of nursing educators nationwide.
