NATURALLY DYED TEXTILES COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE

Seattle, WA, U.S.A. – Tenfold Organic Textiles, LLC (“Tenfold”) announced its exclusive agreement with Aura Herbal Wear Pvt. (“Aura”) to market and distribute commercial quantities of naturally dyed textiles, giving retailers and manufacturers the ability to develop deep product lines for their customers.

“In the US, it’s been difficult for manufacturers to acquire enough consistently dyed material to support commercial production”, states Tenfold President and General Manager, Paul Weinstein, “Aura’s patented process for naturally dying fabric on a large scale represents a huge leap for organic textiles. Its certified organic process produces consistent, colorfast fabric without the use of harmful chemicals or heavy metals. In fact, the effluent from the dye process is used to irrigate a vegetable garden behind the facility.”

Founded in 2004 by textile artist, Leah Weinstein, Tenfold began as Leah’s personal quest to find naturally dyed fabrics for her quilted art. Leah traveled to India to find natural dyes, and after three months of searching, Leah discovered Aura Herbal Wear. After two years of using and testing the fabric while quilting in her Nelson, BC studio, Leah approached her brother Paul to help develop and grow the business. In early 2006, Paul and Leah traveled back to India to secure their relationship with Aura Herbal Wear, and an agreement was reached on April 1, 2006.
