CLP Names David Pearson Vice President of Sales

Reno, NV (May 2007) – CLP Resources, Inc., the leading provider of reliable, skilled tradespeople to building contractors nationwide, announced the appointment of David Pearson as the new vice president of sales today. In his new role, Pearson will be responsible for CLP’s overall sales strategy and execution which includes identifying and targeting new accounts, managing opportunities, and retaining key accounts.
Pearson brings to CLP a wealth of experience in business-to-business sales and sales management, especially in the areas of strategic selling and key account management. For the past ten years, Pearson has held senior sales management roles with Miller Heiman, a global sales performance consulting company, where he held positions as director of global sales for three years, and most recently as vice president of sales operations since 2002.
In addition, Pearson has been published in Sales & Marketing Management magazine, Selling Power, Entrepreneur Magazine, Staffing Success as well as completed an audio interview/podcast for Business Week. He has also co-authored a mini-book on the topic of cross-selling and up-selling. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in speech communications and business administration from the University of Nevada, Reno.
