WebApps, registered under the popular domain name SaaS.com, focuses on two distinct lines of business in the SaaS arena:
- The first leverages a pre-existing set of HR/Payroll centric applications developed internally that are marketed and supported through a network of payroll service bureaus, human resource outsourcing firms, system integrators, and professional employer organizations (PEOs). Software functionality includes time and expense reporting, employee scheduling, benefit entitlements, and activity based costing.
- Second, by utilizing an existing software platform, WebApps helps the channel market and support various business and consumer-facing applications under a SaaS delivery model. Core components such as workflow, security, business rules, notifications, and a report writer are coupled with a user organization's specific domain experience and proprietary data to deploy a complete SaaS solution.
