The Law Offices of Heygood, Orr, Reyes & Bartolomei, a Texas civil litigation firm, has announced that Charles W. Miller has joined the firm as a partner. Mr. Miller’s practice will focus on complex commercial litigation.Previously an associate in the Dallas office of McKool Smith, P.C., Mr. Miller has represented a number of clients in the areas of securities litigation, bankruptcy related litigation, oil and gas litigation, contract disputes, and business torts. He also practiced in the Dallas office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, a New York-based international law firm, and served as a clerk to the Hon. John M. Duhé, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, federal district courts in the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas, the Northern District of Oklahoma, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Mr. Miller earned his law degree with highest honors from the Texas Tech University School of Law and was the Casenote and Comment Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Arizona.
