thebigwordGroup, a global translation services company, today announced the latest addition to its worldwide offices will be in Düsseldorf, Germany. Scheduled to open for business on May 1st, 2007, the new location is expected to help cater to the company’s growing German and European client base.

With over a quarter of Europe’s GNP, Germany’s economy is booming, and is currently the largest in the continent with the DAX 30 up more than 25 percent, an increase which has been reflected in thebigword’s growth in Germany.

thebigwordGroup’s European Vice President of Sales, Per Severinsen comments, “Germany now stands at the center of the European economy and is our fastest growing market after more than doubling in the past three years. Our new office in Germany will increase our presence in mainland Europe and primarily provide our German clients with an increased level of in-country service as we are ideally situated in the economic center of Germany.”

The announcement rides the tails of thebigword’s celebrated official opening of its operations center in Beijing and sales office in Shanghai.

The company has several office expansions planned for 2007 including a new London office and later in the year, a sales office in Japan in addition to an operations center in South America.
