Golden Tulip Hospitality Celebrates The Official Opening Of Its First Newly-Built Hotel In Dûsseldorf

Amersfoort (NL)/Lausanne (CH), 30 April 2007 – The Official Opening reception took place on Thursday April 26th at the Tulip Inn Düsseldorf Arena. With over 250 business partners, colleagues and special guests, Mr. Hans Kennedie, President & C.E.O. of Golden Tulip welcomed all the attendees and reflected on the developments of the hotel.

The evening continued with an interactive and dynamic Q&A session moderated by Thomas Gerres from NTV & TV Gusto. The panel constituted of among others; Mr. Hans Kennedie, President & C.E.O of Golden Tulip Hospitality, Mr. Joachim Erwin, Mayor and Mr. Werner Dornscheidt C.O Fair Dûsseldorf.

A symbolic toast took place tot celebrate the official opening of the hotel. Further music entertainment was provided by The Robert Michler Ensemble, a fantastic combination of Classic and Light Jazz.

The celebration was concentrated on the opening of three unique brands that together form the Golden Tulip Hotel formula:

The Tulip Inn Duesseldorf Arena is a newly build 3 star superior hotel, integrated in the LTU Arena. The location makes the hotel ideal not only for business- and conference guests, but also for concert- group- and leisure guests. The adjacent fairground is at a walking distance from the hotel. Guests can reach the city centre within 14 minutes by subway, located opposite the hotel entrance. For international guests the hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the airport.
