RALEIGH, N.C. – Sepi Asefnia, president of SEPI Engineering Group, has announced that the company is partnering with the YWCA of the Greater Triangle in support of their Science, Engineering and Technology (SETech) Program, an expanding summer camp for girls in grades six through eight, to provide a hands-on interactive experience in a high-tech computer lab. As a partner for the program, SEPI will assist the engineering component of the program and serve as a resource for identifying engineering-related individuals, organizations and businesses in the community to support development of the SETech summer camp, hands-on workshops during the school year and job shadowing opportunities for students. The YWCA’s expansion of the SETech program will provide benefits, especially for girls from communities that are underrepresented in the fields of science, engineering, technology and mathematics.
