During the annual Policeman’s Ball this past weekend, Scott Jackson and Vinny Yandoli, owners of Village Deli and Catering, were awarded the 2006 Businessmen of the Year Award from the Police Benevolent Association of West Windsor, NJ. The honor was bestowed to the owners for their “generous contributions, time, and continuous support to West Windsor Township.” “It’s truly an honor and a privilege to receive this award. We do our best to give back to the community whenever we can, so it’s nice to be recognized in this way.”
Currently, Yandoli and Jackson are participating in the New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run, an event designed to raise awareness and money for the Special Olympics New Jersey. What lies ahead for Village Deli? “This summer we will be completely renovating the deli and transforming it into Clarksville Café, a gourmet delicatessen with a nicer interior, better equipment, and an updated menu. Although our name will change, we look forward to continuing our friendship and partnership with the town of West Windsor and the Police Department.”
Village Deli and Catering, located in the Village Square Shopping Center on Clarksville Rd, is open Monday through Saturday for breakfast and lunch. They provide catering for in-home parties, special events, and corporate functions.
