Wave Software and Target Litigation Consulting Form Partnership

ORLANDO, Florida (April 25, 2007)—Orlando-based Wave Software, an innovator in the de-duplication, re-generation and export of native email files, and Target Litigation Consulting, a full-service litigation support operation in Boston, announced today they have formed a strategic partnership to provide faster, more cost-effective processing of e-mail files for electronic discovery and regulatory response.

Under this partnership, Target Litigation Consulting clients will reap the benefit of Wave Software’s Trident. Trident is industry-leading software for processing of common e-mail file types (PST or NSF files) to comply with discovery requests and regulatory filing requirements.

Entries in Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes are saved in the PST or NSF file formats. When a company must produce emails, calendar items or task entries stored in Outlook or Lotus Notes, the lawyers must gather, evaluate and prepare what is usually a voluminous number of individual files for review. Ensuring that the firm sends only the responsive set of e-mails is a time-consuming and laborious task that Trident resolves head-on.

Trident allows users to import PST/NSF files as Unicode or non-Unicode. This means that it can handle processing of foreign language documents as well. The files are then run through a deduplication process and filtered by keywords. Once all files are processed, data can be exported and delivered in a load-ready format to virtually any review platform.

Now, Target Litigation Consulting will use Trident to process emails on behalf of their clients and providing them the security, reporting and internal chain-of-custody logs that comes with using Trident.
