WARE MALCOMB AWARDED DESIGN OF 2300 EMPIRE CENTER PROJECT

(April 2007) Los Angeles, California – Ware Malcomb is a national design firm offering planning, architecture, interior design, graphic design and site development services to commercial real estate clients throughout the United States and Mexico. The firm’s Los Angeles office is proud to announce that it was been awarded the design of the 2300 Empire Center located at 2300 West Empire Boulevard in Burbank, California. Higgins Development Partners, along with equity partner Walton Street Capital, both of Chicago, Illinois are developing the project.

Ware Malcomb will provide architectural and engineering services for this 7-story, steel-framed office building totaling approximately 363,000 square feet, with 52,000 square foot floor plates and an adjacent 1,325 stall parking structure on a 6.5 acre site. In addition, Ware Malcomb will provide interior design services for the core elements of the project which include the lobby, restrooms, and general areas. Construction for this project is estimated to begin in Winter 2007 with a projected completion in Winter 2008.
