Anger management education center receives increase in referrals after Virginia Tech Shooting

Shannon Munford the owner of Daybreak Counseling Service, an anger management education center in Los Angeles states he has received several phone calls from faith based organizations, concerned employers, and the community after the news of the Virginia Tech shooting hit the airwaves. Mr. Munford states, "Fear is a great motivator, individuals who refused to get help prior to a tragic incident like the Virginia Tech shooting are now questioning their own stablity and the stability of those around them."
Anger Management classes teach effective communication skills, a skill it appears Cho Seung-Hui lacked.
An anger management course teaches stress management and increase emotional intelligence.
Mr. Munford states "In many ways a tragic incident like this can convince other to get the help they need."
