Stewart Stimmel L.L.P. Adds Two Attorneys to Health Care Practice

DALLAS —- The health care law firm of Stewart Stimmel L.L.P. has announced that Vernon L. Krueger has joined the firm as a partner and Flauren Fagadau Bender as an associate.

“Vernon is a highly experienced and successful practitioner in health law,” said Stewart Stimmel co-founder James “Mac” Stewart. “He further strengthens our capabilities to serve a diverse and growing number of clients in the medical field. Flauren has excellent research and writing skills that will ably support these efforts as she begins her legal practice.”

Mr. Krueger is board certified in personal injury law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He received his law degree from the Baylor University School of Law and recently was awarded an LL.M in health law from the University of Houston College of Law. Mr. Krueger is also a licensed dentist, with a degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He practiced dentistry for a number of years before pursuing a legal career.

Mr. Krueger is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Dallas Bar Association, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics. He received his undergraduate degree from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas.

Ms. Bender is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law and received her undergraduate degree from Yale University. She was previously a writer and editor for the Texas Family Law Code & Handbook and authored a recent article in the American Medical Association Journal of Ethics. Ms. Bender is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, Texas Young Lawyers Association and The Junior League of Dallas.
