OurGrove.net Successfully Soft Launches Pagan Social Network

OurGrove.net is a social network for Pagan lifestyles offering a space for all traditions including Wicca, Asatru, Dianic, Golden Dawn, Santeria, Yoruba and all others. The website is currently in soft launch ALPHA. The worldwide Pagan community appears to be turning out to rally around OurGrove.net. Since popping onto the scene 5 weeks ago in mid-March, OurGrove.net has received a growing membership base averaging 10-20 per day. This is due to member referrals where successful registration results in X number of "Blessings", better known as user points. Our growth is demonstrative in the quality and usefulness of the content members are posting to include recipes and forums topics, creating blogs, actively commenting and doing their indi vidual best to build the community. We continue to see loyal participants with writing integrity revisiting the site up to 5 times per day in efforts to build the "Book of Shadows" .

We offer a host of social networking features including organic groups, which are referred to as "Covens" or "Circles". There is a promotion oriented ranking system from "Initiate" to "Summoner" or "Maid/Maiden", "Priest" or "Priestess" with the highest ranking members accessing enhanced community building features being the "High Priestess" and "High Priest". All registered members whatever their rank can invite other members to become their "Confidante", generally known in the social network space as friends. Pagans are people with real life needs so we address those needs as the community evolves. New members only features are being tested daily to include a new free classified ad system, video and image showcase, eCard service and more.

Our goal is to keep the community ad free. Members have communicated they are willing to pay a small fee to disable or limit any ads that might necessarily occur. This would certainly add to planned profitability. We expect to move into BETA on May Day, a Pagan time for new beginnings.
