GameAccount signs multi-year extension with Paddy Power AND reveals next-generation Skill Gaming Software

April 2007 (London, UK) - GameAccount, a leading software developer and supplier to the regulated online gaming industry has extended its software licensing agreement with Paddy Power, operator of the UK & Ireland’s third most-visited online sportsbook site. The multi-year extension enables Paddy Power’s customers to continue playing GameAccount’s market leading portfolio of games including Gin Rummy, Multiplayer Blackjack and Backgammon. All GameAccount person-to-person skill games offer multi-table tournaments – a first for skill gaming – together with head-to-head cash games.

GameAccount has also launched its next-generation skill gaming software. The redesigned software includes navigation enhancements for the games lobby, more information for tournament players and brand new side games. Players can now easily find and register for the next tournament to start and simply navigate between game tables. For the first time in the skill gaming industry, players can launch side games from the game lobby without missing a moment of live person-to-person skill gaming action.

The main software improvements:

1. Game Lobby. Players are presented with easier navigation between the person-to-person skill games; a "players online" count; and a real-time server time clock.

2. Tournament Usability. The new "next tournament" side panel in the game lobby gives players at-a-glance information on the next scheduled multi-table tournament and a single-click registration process. Reinforcing tournament play are text messages, broadcast to all players at game tables announcing the imminent start of the next scheduled tournament.

3. Side Games. From within the game lobby players can now select and launch their choice of quick-to-play instant win games. Players can now engage in exciting games in the minutes prior to (or even during) scheduled tournaments.
