Audiolibra audio bookstore has got a completely new layout. This is a development by the owner Mr. Erik Astrand. Some of the ideas are based upon main Web 2.0 sites.Audiolibra has been online only about 4 months and the first task was to setup an efficient marketing strategy. As Mr. Astrand is an enthusiastic search engine master, it was natural that the main efforts were done on basic search engine marketing.
Late March this year the visitor number reached striking levels and Mr. Astrand decided it was time for a major change of the Audiolibra bookshop layout.
What we see today is the result of that. The header area is completely different. There is a new logo symbolizing the globe with headphones in the front. Under the logo is the main slogan for the shoppers. The header area also contains the 30 day money back guarantee logo.
To the right under the header there is the new E-Trust-E logo. This is a way for customers to verify that they are on a trusted site. The totally new look of the site might confuse some returning visitors and this logo can be the easy help.
Purple is the color choice for the buttons and borders. This was a bit tricky as there are over 5000 different titles with different book covers. Purple was chosen because it’s soft and neutral and also because it blends well with several other colors.
"The comments about our new layout have been all positive", declares the CEO Erik Astrand. "We have also seen an increased conversion from visitors to sales, but the new site has been online for such a short time that this is only preliminary", he continues.
Audiolibra.com is an audio bookstore delivering downloadable facts and fiction for immediate use from the PC, laptop, MP3 player, iPod or cell-phone. Besides the main store there are several niche stores and an affiliate partner system. The vision is to increase the consumption of all kind of spoken word content.
