Climbbybike.com, the website with all information on more than 7,500 climbs to cycle in Europe, has launched its Web 2.0 version. On the new website, cycling fans from all over the world can now add stories and comments about their own cycling trips to the website. Through a new rating system, visitors can judge the difficulty of all of the 7672 climbs. The website has also been translated into French, German and Dutch, providing information and allowing for stories in four different languages.

At the same time, climbbybike.com has produced Google cycling maps for most of the climbs as well as hundreds of Google Earth files, to watch the climbs in 3D. Profiles of all of the climbs, together with descriptions, pictures and basic information, already made climbbybike.com one of the most popular cycling sites in the world. Climbbybike.com also covers the three big tours and the most interesting cycling classics and cyclosportives, like La Marmotte, Ronde van Vlaanderen and the Transalp.

“With our new additions, we wish to offer our cycling fans from all over the world not only the most extensive but also the most fun resource with all information on climbing by bike. Climbbybike is supported and powered by thousands of visitors daily. We will keep on providing them the best possible way to plan their next cycling trip or, at least, to dream of it”, says E.J.A. De Boeck, founder of climbbybike.com.
