MedcomSoft Record EMR Selected by Physician Practices Across the Nation, Including A Major New York City Hospital’s Community Physician HIT Pilot Group

(TSX-MSF), a provider of the next generation of interoperable electronic health records (EHR), today announced that quarterly sales of MedcomSoft Record licenses continue to surpass fiscal 2006 levels as the Company’s growth in sales occurs across the country and among numerous specialties.Since January 2007, MedcomSoft Record has been acquired by practices located in Florida, Louisiana, Texas, New York, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania in various specialties, including family practice , pediatrics, OB/GYN, oncology, pain management, internal medicine, nephrology, psychology and neurology.
Included within the practices that have acquired MedcomSoft Record are four leading practices within the approximately 140 member New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Community Physician Group at Columbia University Medical Center.
