Bomshel Hosts 'The Bomshel Stomp Off!' Contest For Music Video Casting

(Nashville, Tennessee) April 2007 — Curb Recording duo, Bomshel is offering some lucky fans a chance to appear in the “Bomshel Stomp” music video. The Bomshel Stomp Off!, sponsored by McCormick Distilling's Tequila Rose and Cruel Girl Jeans, will bring radio stations and country nightclubs together to award winners a dream trip to Nashville. Winners will be announced by May 1 with the video shoot scheduled for May 21 and 22. Radio stations will partner with their favorite club to host the event. Stations already committed to the contest include: WIRK (West Palm Beach, FL), KIXZ and KDRK (Spokane, WA), KKNG (Oklahoma City, OK), KSD (St. Louis, MO), KBEQ (Kansas City, MO), and WXTU (Philadelphia, PA) and KTOM (Monterey, CA).
"I almost feel guilty playing "Bomshel Stomp" on my afternoon show on "The Bull"… it's almost impossible to sit still in the car when it's on!," say's Billy Greenwood, Program Director at The Bull in St. Louis, MO. "With the amount of phone calls it's generated, I can only imagine what sort of "stomps" are going to be created in St. Louis with our Bomshel Stomp-off!"
Contestants may perform their own original dance or the official "Bomshel Stomp” for a panel of judges. Winners will receive a prize package including airfare to Nashville, hotel accommodation, a meet & greet with Bomshel, Country Music Hall of Fame tickets, Cruel Girl Jeans certificates, Tequila Rose merchandise, and will take part in the music video shoot.
"Bomshel Stomp," from the duo’s debut album, is currently climbing the charts, breaking the top 50 on the Music Row chart this week.
