Portland International District to Hold International Day Festival on July 14, 2007

The newly formed Portland International District (PDXID) is holding a series of community events in connection with their International Day Festival on July 14th. The festival will take place at the park blocks in the Roseway Neighborhood on NE 72nd ave.

Leading up to the festival is a series of plays depicting a slice of life in different cultures. The short plays will be performed at various restaurants in the Portland International District (visit www.pdxid.com for info) and will feature neighborhood talent.

The festival itself is a one day event at the park blocks in the Roseway neighborhood on July 14, 2007 from 12-5pm. To prepare for this neighborhood celebration, Portland International District is looking for local businesses, restaurants, and non-profit organizations who are interested in sponsoring booths at the festival.
