123RF Reinvented
April 11, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
123RF has implemented a Free Image section where users can download web resolution images (72 DPI) for free. These complementary images are donated by our Contributors and will appear in the Free Image section for 24 hours. Registered 123RF members may download and use these images.Stephanie Sitt, VP of Sales and Marketing of Inmagine Corp LLC (which wholly owns 123RF), says the introduction of free images to the website has increased many participating Contributor's portfolio exposure.
“Within a month, we find that photographers with substantial and good portfolios receive increased earnings from 60% to 2800%. This is certainly a great leap for our photographers, the industry and also for us. What's more, the images offered for free downloads are NOT rejected submissions but actual accepted photos from our Contributor's portfolio,” says Sitt.
Since the debut of the new version in March 2007, 123RF has seen a complete face lift.
“Now, our users experience a more streamlined interface, advanced search options and result filters, along with powerful community-based tools. It's all happening here at the improved 123RF, so don't miss out, come be a part of it!” adds Sitt.
123RF has also created new sections like Hear It! – featuring interviews with top photographers; Master It! – tutorials for developing better photography and Photoshop skills; and Discover 123RF – which offers insights to popular keywords, top downloaded images and photographer rankings.
123RF members can now add their favorite Contributors to their list and an image comment system (and soon to come rating system) is already in place. Contributors' Profiles were also redesigned to show even more relevant information such as the Contributor's avatar, their interview, free image contributions and number of profile views.
