PRIL Home Care Academy Celebrates Maid's Day out Empowers them with smart ideas

PRIL, the market leaders in the liquid dish wash category and a product of Henkel India, today celebrated "Maids day out" initiated through the PRIL HOME CARE ACADEMY.

This initiative brought together about a large number of maids from the Anna Nagar locality. The maids went through an infotainment session which included games and fun sessions apart from a section on "Dish Care". The maids were also given an insurance certificate worth Rs.25000/-.

In todays fast pace lifestyle, maids play an important role in everyone's day to day life. They are not only indispensable, but have become family. They play multiple roles and have scaled up to use many of the housewives time-saving gadgets with equal dexterity.

We have taken the 360 degree route with a greater emphasis on direct contact; we realized that the housewives welcomed our initiative and have nominated their maids in large numbers leading to this event. We plan to take this initiative across the country, he added.

In his inaugural address, Mr. Ranju Mohan, Vice President “ Sales & Marketing, Laundary & Home Care said, The maid plays an important role in the decision making in this category. It was this insight that set us thinking on how to involve them with the PRIL brand and the idea of Home care academy was born.

Challenge Anjalai, the character created to represent the maids is a smart one and is armed with the ‘One Drop solution for all her cleaning problems.

Popular artist, Mrs Revathy Sankkaran, was the key note speaker and enthralled the audience with her witticism and interesting anecdotes. The Maids had a go at singing, acting and various other entertainment sessions.
