Bronwyn Martin, financial advisor for over 6 years with Ameriprise Financial Services in Kennett Square, has been awarded the 2007 Women in Business Champion of the Year award from the Small Business Administration, Philadelphia District Office. Martin, is not only a financial advisor but is also the founder of Chester County Women, an organization coming up on its 4th anniversary. Martin’s combination of ongoing professional and community (both national and global) contributions and community support are responsible for her nomination. When asked for comment, Martin said her nomination and winning were a surprise to her and she is very grateful to the people who submitted letters of recommendation on her behalf as well as to Donna Urian, CPA, of Fisher Cunnane & Associates for the nomination and submission for the award.
Martin who only recently learned of the award had already booked her attendance at the 2007 Million Dollar Round Table annual meeting in Denver, CO June 10-13th. Not to miss out on the opportunity to meet other successful business people as well as to watch a baseball game, Martin will now be catching a red eye flight back to Philadelphia for the SBA awards ceremony June 13th at Citizens Bank Park. The awards ceremony will be followed by the Phillies vs. White Sox game.
