Franz Karate Fighting Juvenile Crime with Their Break-A-Thon

Franz Karate, Ltd, one of the nation’s leading martial arts schools, will be hosting a Break-A-Thon fundraiser to help combat juvenile crime by offering scholarships to at-risk students. The event will be held at East Hub Plaza located in Bryan, Ohio on Saturday May 19, 2007 from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 PM. The purpose of the Break-A-Thon fundraiser is to raise awareness of the growing problems with children today and to offer an alternative solution through the life enhancing benefits learned from martial arts classes. Proceeds raised from the Break-A-Thon will help to offset the cost of training in order to offer scholarships to children from the ages of 4 to 17 for classes at Franz Karate, Ltd. Franz Karate, Ltd. will be hosting their open house during the event offering discounts on memberships and to celebrate their 15th year anniversary of bringing the finest martial arts instruction to NW Ohio. Master Steven M. Franz, founder of Franz Karate, we also be celebrating his 30th year in martial arts and performing a demo to help raise funds for this worthwhile cause. Franz Karate, Ltd. has been inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame for helping children learn to succeed in life through positive goal setting and attainment.
