Bangalore, March 2007: Datamatics Limited, IT consulting and services company, and DarwinSuzsoft, one of the leading ITO/BPO companies in China, providing software design, engineering and quality assurance services, signed a landmark agreement for “smart-shoring” software development immediately after the “SIP: Gateway to Business in China” seminar.

The seminar was organized by the Suzhou Industrial Park, a joint initiative created and supported by the governments of China and Singapore. Mr Wang Jinhua, Party Secretary of the Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee, and Ms Sun Yanyan, Vice Chairman of Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee shared their vision and economic / technological opportunities of the Park to various IT and user industry stalwarts at the one-day seminar.

Mr. Wang Jinhua, Party Secretary of the Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee, said, “SIP is excited at being chosen as the preferred choice across China for this unique cooperation between the two countries. The setting up of the development center jointly by Datamatics Limited and DarwinSuzsoft is the result of multiple meetings and visits to India by high ranking SIP officials that started in May last year. Suzhou is the leader in IT and hi-tech services in China.”

Mr Wang added, “My role, as a representative of the Chinese Government, is to provide the platform and the catalyst incentives necessary for ITO/BPO to flourish in China.”
