Top Global¡¯s 3G/4G mobile routers are patented, mobile/portable wireless communications gateway for wireless broadband internet access. The 3G Mobile Office Router is a compact, universal cellular router supports all 3G standards includes UMTS, HSDPA (both 1.8M and 3.6M peak speed), CDMA2000 1x, EVDO Rev.0 and Rev.A.(3.1M peak speed) commercially available today. The MB6800 Mobile Router is really four devices in one box:
1. It is a Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect both screaming fast Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to the network. To protect your data and privacy, the router can encode all wireless LAN transmissions securely with WEP or WPA
2. It integrates a built-in 4-port full-duplex auto-sensing 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. You can connect four PCs directly or attach more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. Once your computers are connected to the Router, they can communicate with each other too, sharing document files, a printer, storage space, and other resources.
3. It has a powerful SPI firewall to protect your PCs against intruders and most known Internet attacks, and supports VPN pass-through. An upgraded model even has a built-in VPN end point.
4. The Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share either a wired or wireless (3G/4G Cellular) broadband Internet connection. For fixed line, you can connect a cable or DSL modem to the WAN port. For Cellular, you can plug-in any 3G PC cards to the PCMCIA slot to access internet using EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, CDMA 1x, EVDO, EVDO Rev.A, or WiMax.
